2022 Black Kite Cellars Gap's Crown Vineyard Pinot Noir, Sonoma Coast

Our Gap’s Crown Vineyard consistently produces small clusters of intensely concentrated fruit, reminiscent of a beloved cherry pie. The 2022 vintage continues this tradition, with vibrant aromas of ripe cherry and sweet plum emerging from the glass, accompanied by hints of lavender, violets, and a subtle touch of cocoa. On the palate, the rich, concentrated flavors of macerated cherries and sweet, toasty oak unfold in sumptuous layers, with these elements lingering throughout a long, complex finish. This wine is delightful upon release, but can also be cellared for 7-9 years to further develop its character.
